Beyond The Fire

Cath Thomas says it right, “Looking after Country has always been part of who we are. It’s our Culture, it’s everything to us”.

Cath, together with other GLaWAC staff and Gunaikurnai Elders, features in the 4th episode of Beyond The Fire, reflecting on the events of the black summer bushfires, the benefits of cultural fire and the need for traditional custodian voices to be heard so that community and Country can begin to heal together.
